Bamburgh Castle is situated at the north-eastern tip of Historic Northumbria. It is an impressive coastal fortress on a basalt crag. Bamburgh Castle sits on the golden heritage coastline of Northumbria, enjoying views of the Farne Islands and Holy Island and inland has views of the Cheviot Hills.
